The Opportunity
This freelance role will see you dive into the day-to-day running of organic social media channels, including Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
You'll be hands on working with two Marketing Managers in a hybrid work environment, supported by weekly WIPs, lots of collaboration, and the ability to work autonomously. There’s no micromanagement here - they’re after someone who can take direction and run with it, contributing from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and schedule organic content across multiple channels
- Craft engaging, on-brand captions
- Work collaboratively across retail and trade verticals
- Join weekly WIPs and communicate regularly with the wider marketing team
- Manage your workflow autonomously with support when needed
- 2–3 years' experience in social media (agency or in-house)
- Demonstrated experience in managing organic content and writing captions
- A self-starter who thrives without micromanagement
- Flexible, reliable, and keen to be part of a team long-term
- No need for prior retail experience — attitude and capability are key
- Freelance contract: 3 months initially, with potential to extend
- Immediate start
- Hybrid: 50/50 remote/onsite
