They have an AMAZING opportunity for a Midweight Graphic Designer to come and join their existing team on a long term freelance assignment.
This is an onsite requirement, so you do have to be based in Melbourne to be shortlisted for this opportunity.
This opportunity is also ideal for those designers who have recently invested in up-skilling and who are capable of working across print, digital and video.
You'll have strong creative skills, capable of working with and pushing the envelope with the existing brand style guidelines. The client is really keen to find creatives with strong typographic skills that can produce clean content with a clear understanding of hierarchy and where your eyes are purposely drawn in stages. They do have a lot of content heavy documents, and it’s a challenge to break information into easily digestible segments, so this is the design skill that they're really looking for.
There is a really dynamic range of work that you'll be involved with; everything from traditional print brochures and flyers through to social media assets and video creation.
To be suitable, you will need to have skills with After Effects and Premier Pro at an intermediate level. You'll be able to do basic animation of text along with editing of videos.
They're really keen to find someone who is collaborative in their approach, and open to contributing their ideas to their creative ideas. This is an opportunity for someone who really sees themselves as a team player.
You'll also be comfortable in talking to stakeholders and assisting them with their requirements, while also being able to self manage your time and your work.
You'll be right across the CS Adobe packages (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and a practical working knowledge of After Effects and Premier Pro), and it would be an advantage if you're across MS PowerPoint.
Mandatory would be CS Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and a basic knowledge of After Effects and Premier Pro. An advantage would be MS Office PowerPoint. You'll be working on a MAC platform.
As mentioned before, this is a full time onsite requirement, and the expectation is that this opportunity will be a minimum of six months with the possibility of going longer.
If this sounds like something that would be suitable for you, then please send through your CV and an up to date folio to Lawrence on lawrence@creativerecruiters.com.au.
Please note, as much as we would like to get back to everyone, only those who are shortlisted will be responded to. This is an onsite assignment, so you need to be based in Melbourne Australia and have full Australian working rights to apply. This is not a suitable opportunity for overseas creatives.
