We are recruiting for a legendary Australian sporting goods brand with a proud heritage and a global footprint. As we evolve our ecommerce sophistication, we are looking for a hands-on Ecommerce Operations & Content Coordinator to be the heartbeat of our digital store.
About the Role
This isn't just a "copy-paste" content role. This position sits at the intersection of IT, Marketing, and Customer Experience. You will be responsible for the daily "engine room" tasks that keep a global site running, while simultaneously managing the mechanics of ERP-led ecommerce.
Your daily impact will include:
- Site Ownership: Managing day-to-day website content updates via CMS (WordPress/WooCommerce or similar).
- Product Operations: Managing product data via spreadsheets and ensuring seamless integration between our ERP systems and the web storefront.
- Campaign Execution: Manually generating voucher codes and setting up promotions to support seasonal sales activity.
- Customer Connection: Working closely with the customer service flow to resolve order issues and update FAQs based on real-time user feedback.
- Content Creation: Writing and editing landing pages, product descriptions, and campaign content to ensure it’s on-brand and SEO-friendly.
- Performance: Using analytics to audit existing content and improve underperforming pages.
This role is perfect for those people who aren't afraid to be "in the weeds" and get hands on. You understand that to run a great website, you have to understand the data and the customer first.
Ideally, you have:
- 3 years of experience in a digital, ecommerce, or content-heavy role.
- Technical Curiosity: You aren't intimidated by spreadsheets, ERP workflows, or CMS back-ends.
- The "Owner" Mindset: You take pride in the small details—like a perfectly functioning promo code—knowing they lead to a great customer experience.
- Strong Communication: Excellent writing and proofreading skills, with the ability to talk to customers and stakeholders alike.
- Growth Ambition: This role has the potential to offer new learning opportunities and growth for those who are tenacious.
Based in Melbourne’s SE suburbs, we offer a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). You’ll be joining a globally recognised brand with a down-to-earth culture, a casual dress code, and a team that values proactive problem-solvers.
