The client, a leading not-for-profit aged-care organisation, is seeking an experienced Freelance Content Writer to support their communications from April to October. As one of Australia’s largest integrated care providers, they are dedicated to strengthening communities and delivering people-centred care.
With significant home care reforms underway, they need a writer who can own the topic, educate the market, and create engaging content that answers the big questions.
This is a remote role, but occasional onsite meetings may be required.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Writing high-level, educational content to inform customers, staff, and stakeholders about home care reforms.
- Producing a mix of thought leadership pieces, social media content, and internal communications.
- Translating complex industry changes into clear, engaging, and accessible messaging.
- Developing a staff communication plan to ensure employees are informed and engaged.
- Adapting quickly to new information, responding to urgent content needs, and working collaboratively with internal experts.
- A skilled content writer who can quickly become a subject matter expert (SME) in home care reform.
- Strong corporate and social media content writing experience, with an ability to balance professional and engaging tones.
- Someone agile and proactive, who can drive content strategy and own key messaging.
- Based in South East Queensland or Northern NSW, as the client requires infrequent in-person meetings.
Why Apply? - Freelance role from April to October (2-3 days a week).
- Work with a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to people-centred care and community support.
- Be at the forefront of industry change, helping to educate and inform key stakeholders.
- Join a collaborative team, supported by an internal coordinator and subject expert.
Please note that, as much as we would like to get back to everyone, we're simply unable to do that. We are not able to accept applications from those outside of Australia or who do not have working rights within Australia.
