A busy small independent Creative and Marketing agency based in Melbourne (also with offices in Sydney), specialising in Brand, Design, Marketing and Digital are looking for their next Senior Account Manager.
They have built a reputation on delivering quality service with quick turnaround and high-end design solutions. They are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, manage multiple clients and projects at one time in various areas of business.
The role is responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with assigned clients within various industries.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be taking briefs, working through the briefs with the creative team and managing the process.
You will also be developing marketing plans and strategies as well as brand development. This can also include conception and management of campaigns, taking lead in new business meetings.
The role is varied and autonomous.
Support the Account Director to manage the key client accounts.
Establish, build and nurture strong relationships with key client contacts at various levels.
Liaise with relevant suppliers and develop relationships with key contacts and production departments.
Attend to any new job briefs.
Manage the whole process internally and externally.
Ensure all work is prepared for presentation with a high level of accuracy and creativity
Start to become familiar with client businesses, brands, Staying on top of market segments, emerging trends, new technologies and channel marketing to ensure an understanding of the business.
Managing pitches through coordinating the pitch team, driving the creative through the studio and proposal preparation.
Maintain all relevant client and team files on the agency server
Update Weekly WIP and contact reports.
University degree in Marketing or Business preferred
Ideally 3-5 years of business experience and/or agency familiarity.
Project and campaign management experience essential
Experience in BTL/Brand activation, NPD/Branding and Event Management will be looked upon favourably.
