They’re a well known Australian business based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne with an established team and this role is ideal for a Graphic Designer with 3+ years commercial design experience in product and packaging, and licensing.
Within this creative role, no two days are going to be the same. You'll be working across a range of exciting leisure products that will go exclusively into some of Australia's best known retailers, requiring skills as diverse as illustrating characters and icons, print patterns, and product packaging.
One skill that this client really would like to see is strong illustrative graphic design skills that best reflects a range of retailers commercial handwriting along with design and creative experience in brand development, house brand development and packaging development
You'll also have Finished art experience and knowledge of print production techniques, and be happy to across production and creative as needed. You'll be working with product managers giving guidance on creative direction to ensure all brand assets are best in class
As to be expected, you'll have a high level of competence in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
This is an environment where you're expected to participate and contribute in brainstorm sessions consistently using a sense of creativity, foresight and good design judgement in developing commercial graphics and styles.
Bonus points if it is in the leisure product industry sector.
This role is currently a hybrid position with a combination of onsite and remote. The companies head office is based in the north west suburbs of Melbourne, and the expectation is that you'll be onsite a few days a week for creative collaboration and brainstorming, and then able to take the work offsite.
