As the Manager, Event Experience, you’ll play a senior leadership role overseeing a team of six, responsible for enhancing the quality and engagement of events across a sophisticated national program. You’ll bring a creative and innovative approach to event design, incorporating new technologies, formats, and production methods to elevate the member experience from start to finish.
You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to deliver best-in-class events, balancing operational excellence with creativity and innovation. Your expertise in stakeholder engagement, event technology, and process optimisation will be critical to delivering memorable and meaningful experiences for members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop the Event Experience team to deliver high-quality, engaging events.
- Oversee the end-to-end attendee journey across live, virtual and hybrid formats.
- Drive innovation through event technologies (e.g., EventsAir) and creative design solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational strategy.
- Manage budgets, processes and reporting, ensuring events are delivered to the highest standard.
- You bring 5+ years of event management experience, ideally within education, membership, or professional services.
- You’ve successfully led teams and delivered large-scale, complex events.
- You’re confident adopting and integrating new technologies to enhance event delivery.
- You have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- You’re a strategic thinker with exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
