This is a rare opportunity to embed yourself within a well-established internal creative team and contribute to meaningful public-facing communications.
You’ll be rolling up your sleeves to produce a wide variety of work – from print collateral and signage to digital assets for web and social media. There’s a strong emphasis on branding, so you’ll need to be confident working with established style guides and maintaining consistency across all outputs.
You’ll also be updating templated materials (including Canva templates), and supporting general communications.
The team values someone who is flexible, highly organised, and a natural collaborator. You’ll be the only in-house designer during this period, so autonomy, reliability and an eye for detail are key.
What You’ll Bring:
- A senior-level folio with strong layout and finished art skills
- Ability to confidently work from style guides (government experience a bonus)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Canva experience (this one’s non-negotiable)
- Basic video editing using Premiere Pro is a bonus, but not essential
- Mac proficiency and comfort using Microsoft Office tools
- A proactive, unflappable approach – you're a calm pair of hands when deadlines loom
- Dates: Ideally starting 9th December 2025 for a handover, then 10–23 December and 2 Jan–4 Feb
- Location: 100% onsite
- Equipment provided (Mac + camera/lighting if needed)
- Full-time hours (9am–5pm)
