Our client is a well known retailer based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne who is looking for a freelance retail Graphic Artist to assist their in house studio with upcoming overflow work from Sept 15th for, at this point, a couple of weeks although potentially longer.
They're looking for a freelance onsite Graphic Artist who has high volume retail experience, who is practical, detail-focused and who enjoys working in the catalogue industry.
You'll ideally have an energetic, enthusiastic and spirited character as well, complimenting the existing team.
This freelance position will see you developing and creating retail catalogues, producing artwork ready files that meet deadlines and specification requirements. You'll also have proven understanding of catalogue timelines & schedules along with the annotation & approval process between a retail studio and its broader marketing team.
Your production and print knowledge will ensure that all of the print collateral is of the highest standard, and this will be highlighted by your 4+ years of proven industry experience within a high volume retail studio environment.
You'll (naturally) be across the Adobe CC software although Microsoft Office and Quickcut will be an advantage. While not a design role, you will have excellent design, typographical and layout skills with a good understanding of branding and working within brand guidelines.
You'll have solid experience in navigating studio servers and DAMs, and a sharp eye for detail which will allow you to confidently contribute in identifying opportunities to improve workflow or file set up.
This is an onsite requirement based in the inner South East suburbs of Melbourne, and you will need to be fully vaccinated for this opportunity.
To apply now, submit your CV and folio which showcases examples of your retail work on the link below.
This opportunity is an onsite requirement, so only people in Melbourne who have appropriate working rights will be shortlisted. While we would like to get back to everyone, due to the volume of applicants, we will only respond to those who have been shortlisted.
