Calling all outdoor lovers who are content and social media whiz’s. Our client is a highly recognised Australian owned and operated global retail business who values great work culture, encourages collaboration and new ideas. They are looking for a Digital Content Specialist to work 5 days a week.
This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
For this freelance assignment, you will be reporting to the Group Content Marketing Manager and working alongside the brand team. With support from them, you will take initiative in coming up with ideas and strategies for social media platforms and presenting these to the brand team. Moreover, you will be scheduling and copywriting captions across their Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. There will also be a focus on generating content for new and trending apps such as TikTok.
On a weekly basis, you will be presenting content reports to internal stakeholders and agency partners, whilst analysing data and making recommendations for growth. You will also be responsible for the influencer marketing program, managing this alongside the PR agency.
Working in a team is crucial for this role. You will be in charge of executing concepts via stills, graphics, video and motion-based assets across all channels with the help of the Videographer, Photography team and Design team. You will also be able to showcase your leadership skills through coaching and mentoring a Digital Content Intern, however this is not crucial to be successful.
You are expected to have at least 2-3 years of experience creating social and web content for reputable retail brands (in house or agency).
Other important skills to uphold include high level attention to detail, a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, strong communication abilities and having enjoyed working in a fast paced retail environment.
This assignment will be at least 4 weeks commencing on 25/07/22 and ending 22/08/22.
