This position will be working within an existing team that is fast paced, collaborative, supportive, hardworking and social. This is an environment where ideas, techniques and best practices are shared to help ensure the best possible work leaves the studio each and every time.
You’ll be a designer with a minimum of 6 years industry experience and have the artistic sensibility to work alongside the Creative Director to roll out retail campaign creative through communication retail channels (POS, digital and press).
This is a vital role is for someone with an outgoing attitude and proactive nature who can collaborate with shared functions to ensure consistent visuals & messaging through different retail channels across retail campaigns. You will also know when layouts need sharpening, where elements should and shouldn’t align and can ensure price points are perfectly positioned. You will be a detailed focused self-starter who is able to work as part of a team while managing your time and workload effectively.
You’ll have demonstrated ability to take direction while also exercising your own autonomy in decision making, along with an ability to demonstrate solutions focused design outcomes and conceptual development of retails design based on supplied strategy.
You'll be working across catalogues, POS, Digital and press, and experience dealing with creative lead roles would be beneficial. With that in mind, your folio examples MUST show examples of each of these requirements in order to be considered for the shortlist and demonstrate your ability to generate concepts in the area of retail communications.
The ideal candidate will have come from a similar fast paced advertising / in house retail background and your folio is going to showcase your work across catalogues and other retail based work. Experience in working with an online annotation system is also going to be an advantage.
This position is ideal for an experienced mid-weight wanting to step up into a senior weight role. Experience dealing with creative lead roles would also be beneficial.
This position is an onsite requirement, working in with the organizations existing COVID Safe Plan. This opportunity is not suitable for anyone wanting a part time position or who is wanting to work remotely.
