In this pivotal role, you’ll manage the design and production of complex, long-form materials including instructional manuals, training guides, reports and templated collateral.
Working closely with an in-house studio and production team, you’ll oversee publication schedules, uphold design standards, and ensure every output meets accessibility, compliance and quality requirements.
You’ll be someone who brings calm to high-pressure environments — a steady hand who can navigate tight deadlines and deliver exceptional results. Your deep technical knowledge of Adobe InDesign and strong editorial design experience will allow you to balance creativity with precision, guiding your team to produce design that is clear, functional and impactful.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in editorial or publication design, ideally across government, education, or complex corporate environments.
- Advanced technical skills in Adobe InDesign, with proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of layout systems, typography, accessibility and print production processes.
- Experience managing publication workflows and mentoring designers.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and version control.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to lead under pressure.
