The key responsibility of this role is to maintain the digital asset management platform, coordinating integration of all digital assets into the digital asset management system.
This requires someone with excellent admin skills as you'll be required to ensure that the assets are organised and archived as effectively and efficiently as possible.
The client is really keen to find someone who is very process and workflow driven, as you'll also develop and document related digital asset management procedures.
Software wise, Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop is going to be your key tool and you'll have the experience to be able to prioritise, catalogue and perform quality control checks of all assets into the digital asset management system. This is a MAC environment as well.
You'll also be able to maintain image catalogues, image naming conventions, file hygiene and folder structure along with maintaining standardised image asset library tagging system with relevant and accurate metadata.
Your administration skills will also see you be able to track ownership and usage rights for digital assets along with DAM audit work as required, and ongoing compliance management.
This role will have you be the go to person when it comes to the companies DAM, and you'll be providing technical guidance and training throughout the wider business for all DAM users. With this in mind, you'll ideally be a 'personable person' and capable of speaking across a wide range of people within the business.
You may also be required at time to do problem solving, which may require you to do some digging to find the information that you need, so having that tenacity and accountability will go a long way.
You'll be working closely in collaboration with a few of the teams within the business and contributing to overall studio workflow and assist with other projects within the team as required. With this in mind, some knowledge of retouching and finished art would be an advantage.
You'll ideally have 2-3 years experience working with DAM systems, metadata and tagging images, and be familiar with a wide range of digital file formats, digitisation and digital formatting practices. This is a high volume retail environment, and so similar or agency experience will be highly valued.
You'll be someone who is proud in maintaining the best DAM this business could imagine, and you'll do that through being highly organised and focused with a detail oriented perfectionist streak, strong communications and excellent time management skills.
This is an onsite requirement based in the inner South East suburbs of Melbourne, and you will need to be fully vaccinated for this opportunity.
