Director of Marketing

The Director of Marketing is a senior leadership position responsible for shaping and executing the overall marketing vision and strategy of the organization. This role oversees all marketing functions, leads a high-performing team, and collaborates with executive leadership to drive brand growth, customer engagement, and revenue generation. The Director of Marketing ensures that all marketing initiatives are innovative, data-driven, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports the company’s business goals and enhances brand positioning.

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high performance.

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and emerging channels.

  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maximum ROI.

  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify new growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with sales, product, and executive teams to align marketing initiatives with broader business objectives.

  • Oversee brand management, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all touchpoints.

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, using data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners, agencies, and vendors.

  • Represent the marketing function at the executive level, providing strategic input and presenting results to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop talent.

  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, brand management, content marketing, and traditional advertising.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, with experience using data to drive decisions and optimize performance.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace
