Our client is a highly reputable and well loved Australian retailer with over 170 years’ of business in retail. They are looking for a Digital Content Specialist to work 5 days a week.
This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
In this freelance opportunity, you will be reporting to the Group Content Marketing Manager and working alongside the brand team. Furthermore, you will be in charge of the strategising and execution process of multi-format content for the brand’s multiple platforms.
This will be done via stills, graphics, video and motion-based assets across all channels with the help of the Content Producer, Content Creator and Design team. Therefore, a deep understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Youtube is imperative.
You need to be someone who is confident presenting ideas in front of stakeholders and isn’t afraid to drive discussions. At times, you will be responsible for managing projects, so great organisation and communication skills are essential. Additionally, you will work alongside the Digital Content Coordinator to construct captions across all social media platforms.
On a weekly basis, you will be presenting content reports to internal stakeholders and agency partners, whilst analysing data and making recommendations for growth. You will also be sourcing appropriate partners to work with whilst maintaining ongoing contact, and sending out influencer kits.
You are expected to have at least 2-3 years of experience in strategising and coordinating social and web content for reputable retail brands (in house or agency).
Other important skills to uphold include high level attention to detail, smooth ability to multitask and being a natural at time management. Experience in the fashion/ homewares retail industry is strongly regarded.
This assignment will be at least 4 weeks commencing approximately on 01/08/22 and ending 29/08/22.
