About the Role
Are you a pro at transforming text-heavy documents into visually appealing, readable content in a fast-paced setting? If so, read on... Our client is currently looking for a talented Desktop Publisher with experience in photo retouching to support their existing team for an upcoming marketing campaign in the new year. Multiple positions are available with the possibility of remote work. Initially, you will be based in our client's offices in Sydney and Brisbane as the project kicks off.
About You:
You will have a portfolio full of examples of exceptional brochure, booklet, pamphlet work and be able to take on the following tasks with ease and efficiency:
Visual Content Creation: Design and format text, images and multimedia elements.
Consistent Document Styling: Apply uniform formatting, styles and templates to maintain a professional appearance throughout various materials.
Typography Expertise: Enhance readability and visual appeal by selecting suitable fonts, type sizes and spacing.
Photo Retouching: Edit and optimize images, ensuring they meet quality and resolution standards.
Collaborative Project Management: Work closely with clients, writers, editors, and the other designers to understand project requirements, incorporating feedback for successful outcomes.
Requirements
Education: A bachelor's degree in graphic design, desktop publishing or a related field.
Experience: Practical experience in desktop publishing or graphic design.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in desktop publishing software is essential. Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Publisher.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is crucial to ensure accurate and error-free documents.
