As part of a small and close-knit team, you will produce and manage copy, photography, video, animations through thoughtful and engaging creative to reinforce a strong and consistent brand identity.
As the Content & Communications Manager, you know how to create great compelling content across all social media platforms.
Your responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include the management of a multi-channel content calendar, as well as executing the wider content requirements of campaigns by crafting all marketing communications content in line with brand guidelines. This will include:
Research, write and edit compelling and engaging technical / financial copy for various media and formats (ie. case studies, brochures, web, email, social media, advertising, blog posts, podcasts, etc) while adhering to best-practice SEO-writing techniques, including keyword integration and organic research
Create engaging, informative and insightful content to be used across a variety of digital platforms, including but not limited to website, social and eDMs
Proofread copy to ensure brand compliance, tone of voice, messaging and quality
Partner with internal subject matter experts to write articles to raise our profile and advocacy on key financial services narratives
Manage all social media channels and content schedule on daily, weekly and monthly basis, including owning the planning, production and commercial content mix
Regularly monitor SEO stats and action changes as required. Review monthly content audits across all content channels to update and optimise, as well as weekly and monthly reporting on content performance and key learnings across all channels
Collaborate with the in-house Graphic Designer to produce animations, videos and other content as required for social media cut-downs and earned / paid media advertising
Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Creative Writing, Journalism, or related
Minimum 2-3 years of experience working as a Copywriter or Content Lead in a similar high-volume content environment. Financial Services industry experience will be a bonus
Exceptional writing skills for different mediums, channels and audiences
Solid understanding of the different nuances required for content on organic platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
Experience in SEO and writing content which is optimised for search
Sound experience in data analysis, ROI tracking and reporting to optimise campaigns and native content, with a good grasp of the key metrics which help determine and drive content success from a user engagement, data and SEO perspective
Ability to use email marketing platforms and Adobe Creative Suite
You understand content storytelling, and the value of telling the story of a brand across multi channels
You can simplify complex financial services terminology to plain English
You have an exceptional attention to detail and relentlessly high standards in creative production and organisation
You can work on multiple projects simultaneously and juggle different deadlines at speed in a fast turnaround environment without sacrificing quality of content
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of people and personalities
An understanding of photography and video editing software experience are an advantage. A good eye for images and skills with image production
