As a Technical Artist you will be responsible for building, supporting and delivering workflows and assets that enable artists and designers to quickly integrate quality content and features into our games. It would be expected that you should have a strong eye for art quality and knowledge of real-time graphics pipelines.
It is normal that a portfolio would required for a role like this showing what you were directly responsible for creating. Professional experience of 3-5 years would be a normal expectation. You should have a very good understanding of Unity & Unreal Engine 4 with a keen familiarity with Maya and it's API. You would be expected to have experience with art tool deployment and the ability to trouble shoot problems and support other artists in the team.
Communication skills are a big part of this role and the ability to explain and illustrate technical processes. The ability to take direction well and meet deadlines and work on multiple tasks at once would be highly regarded.
