Getting to know Vanessa Dolan - Recruitment Specialist
I am super excited to be joining Creative Recruiters. I was looking for a role in the advertising industry here in Australia and found that other recruiters didn’t have the inside industry knowledge needed in order to effectively understand senior talent. I wondered how then could they effectively source senior talent and that led me to pursue my new career with Creative Recruiters.

Who am I?
I started my Advertising career in Melbourne, Australia. I then worked continued my Advertising career in Amsterdam for 10 years, traveling around the globe for various clients and shooting & producing amazing work. The Middle East was my next home, purely because someone said I couldn’t possibly live and work there as a single blonde female. I always love a challenge, so I moved and lived there for 7 years, running global advertising accounts and loved it.
Where have I been for the last year?
A few years ago, I left the world of advertising to teach yoga and set up my own online yoga website. It was fantastic and I love yoga, but I’m not really ready to slow down just yet. I miss being in an adrenaline-paced environment with fabulous people. It’s time to rev up the internal engine again.
What am I passionate about?
I am passionate about living life to the fullest, whether it be work or play. I love yoga and I am a registered yoga teacher, but on some days I need to balance that out with high adrenaline kick-boxing…it will depend on how my day went.
What is my vision?
What I really want to do now is bring my understanding of the Talent required to meet business objectives, to my role here at Creative Recruiters by recruiting extraordinary Talent for the Advertising and Marketing industry. With my extensive, global advertising experience my vision is to be able to offer candidates and clients a service which is second to none.

I will be focusing on the advertising and marketing industries.
