Our client is a footwear company who represents some of Australia's most iconic brands. They are a leading footwear retailer, with more than 250+ stores and 2000+ team members nationally along with being home to multiple brands and websites, each with its own unique identity and audience.
They're seeking a talented Junior to Midweight Copywriter to join their dynamic team for a fixed-term contract of six months. In this role, you'll work closely with their in-house creative team to produce compelling product descriptions and EDM copy across various brands. You'll be responsible for distilling technical information into engaging, SEO-friendly content that resonates with their diverse customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
Craft compelling product descriptions and EDM copy for multiple brands and websites.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop naming and campaign strategies.
Ensure all copy adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone of voice.
Proofread and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and grammar.
Participate in team brainstorming sessions and creative workshops.
They're ultimate looking for someone with demonstrated writing experience including product descriptions, eDMs and socials, across multiple brands. As their teams are highly creative, collaborative, and willing to help, you will be a team player that enjoys supporting your colleagues wherever needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the retail, agency, or FMCG sectors.
A highly creative and imaginative side
Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills to match; and
The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Word and Asana.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Flexibility to work on-site three days a week and remotely for two days.
