To succeed in this role you will need expertise in two areas.
Solution and project leadership:
Manage projects successfully through all phases from discovery to delivery. Maintain appropriate project documentation and cadences to ensure success
Ensure technical best practices to allow high performance, quality, security and reliability, minimising downtime.
Work harmoniously with the UX Strategy, Digital Design and Project Leads to deliver best in class experiences.
Team Leadership:
Manage external technical partnerships including web development partners, freelancers and our offshore development team.
Be responsible for mentoring, coaching and professional development of the team.
Coordinate digital tasks and projects with stakeholders and external partners using designated systems and processes.
You will also need a clear understanding of:
Modern full stack development
Micro-services & micro application architecture
Node, Typescript
CMS & headless development such as Craft, SliverStripe, Dato and Acoustic.
HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, React, PHP
API, web services & REST
Storybook
AWS & Amazon CloudFront
Docker and CI/CD pipelines
Comprehension in app development
