Our client is a government organisation who is looking for someone who has that rare combination of Midweight Graphic Designer skills along with Finished Art and Traffic Coordination skills to assist in coordinating and designing the outputs, standards and workflow of design, print, production and campaign services.
This would initially be a freelance opportunity however it has the potential to move across to a permanent position for the right candidate.
You'll be required to take briefs from and liaise with internal clients and stakeholders as well as coordinating and liaising with external agencies to produce work for print, digital and campaign services within established brand guidelines.
You'll also be required to handle production and traffic of work, coordinating job traffic and scheduling of artwork, and undertaking administrative tasks related to quotes, invoices and purchase orders.
Your cool, calm and collected style allows you to immediately build rapport, as well as creating a space where you can offer your advice and guidance, including the ability to pro-actively resolve issues as they arise.
The range of work will include everything from brochures, signage and outdoor graphics through to infographics, PowerPoint presentations and text heavy documentation.
You'll have come from an environment where your organisational skills and high level of discipline made it easy for you to stick to deadlines. If you've previously worked in a corporate (such as publishing) or government environment where you have worked within multiple processes, deadlines and schedules, then this experience is going to truly be a benefit for this opportunity. Your experience in providing support to a function delivering a high volume of tasks, including management of competing requirements and priorities.
