Our client is an award-winning residential home builder headquartered in modern offices in Mulgrave, dedicated to setting a premium new standard for high-quality, design-forward homes. They are looking for a collaborative, detailed, and proactive Graphic Designer to join their talented internal marketing and design team.
This role is a true partnership. Working hand-in-hand with a Senior Designer and the Head of Brand & Marketing, you will act as a core support engine for the day-to-day creative requirements of the business. From daily marketing communications and department support to larger brand development tasks, creative campaigns, and long-term design projects, you will have a genuine seat at the table to help elevate and refine the brand.
What You'll Be Doing
You will be responsible for ensuring visual consistency and bringing fresh, considered creative thinking to a wide range of print, digital, and physical formats.
Your daily focus will include:
- Design & Layout: Creating eye-catching marketing collateral, campaign assets, signage, EDMs, website assets, and engaging social content.
- Brand Application: Becoming a guardian for the brand's identity, ensuring all collateral aligns beautifully with established visual guidelines and presentation standards.
- Production & Finished Art: Taking design concepts through to the final finish line, setting up flawless, production-ready files for digital deployment and print suppliers.
- Collaboration & Workflow: Actively participating in internal briefings, managing your project deadlines, and maintaining meticulously organised working files to support a collaborative team environment.
While mid-weight experience is wonderful, attitude, intent, and a great creative eye trump a long CV. If you are an ambitious designer with less experience but can showcase excellent design decision-making and a portfolio that proves your potential, we highly encourage you to apply!
Ideally, you will bring:
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills across Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite—specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Design Fundamentals: A solid grasp of typography, visual hierarchy, grid layouts, and image treatment across different mediums.
- Production Knowledge: Experience or a strong understanding of file setup, bleeds, version control, and preparing artwork for digital and print output.
- Personal Attributes: A professional, organised approach, a willingness to take on feedback, and the ability to juggle multiple ad-hoc tasks comfortably.
- Familiarity with WordPress, email marketing tools, or prior experience in property/retail is a bonus, but not essential.
