Job Description

Our client is looking for Melbourne's best MS Word Specialist to assist their existing in house design team with a temporary onsite requirement at the start of April.

Our client has approximately 60 templates that need to be created in Microsoft Word and, as these templates will be used by hundreds of staff, these templates need to be robust and suitable to be used across multiple levels of experience with Word.

You'll be able to take the graphic assets created using InDesign and create each word template in Microsoft Word, which will be used across both MAC and PC platforms.

You'll have experience in setting up sections/tables/styles and colour palettes and be able to ensure that these templates follow Accessibility guidelines (which will be supplied).

You'll also be required to set up additional instructional guidelines layers on templates, and adhere to and use standard industry proofing and design layout processes to ensure work is produced to the highest standards within agreed timeframes.

You'll be able to set up as much automated functionality within the templates, leaving basic users free of understanding more complex functions of MS Word.

You'll be a problem solver, proactive in working out issues with the templates as they arise during their creation.  You'll need to be familiar with the tools and functions of Adobe InDesign and MS Office Word layout and style as there will be a need to work between both these programs to deliver outcomes.

You'll be professional in your approach, capable of explaining to key stakeholders during the project.  You'll know when to listen, how to take instructions, and how to be a team player in getting these templates completed by the deadline.
