We are specifically looking for editors who possess true creative autonomy. While you will work with supplied templates and existing brand guidelines, you must be a storyteller who can confidently make independent, definitive editing choices without needing someone heavily directing over your shoulder.
Your day-to-day will see you:
- Reviewing and editing video content autonomously from raw footage to final delivery
- Making creative choices regarding pacing, narrative flow, and visual storytelling
- Utilising supplied government templates and existing videos for style and brand references
- Applying a sharp eye to video composition, color grading, sound editing, and basic special effects
- Ensuring all content is high-quality, engaging, and compliant with department communication standards
- Is a mid-to-senior level Video Editor with a strong showreel.
- Ideally have prior government experience.
- Can work independently, taking a brief and running with it successfully from start to finish
- Has access to your own reliable laptop and professional video editing software
- Is highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Brings a thoughtful, solution-driven approach to tight government timelines and briefs
