Established for close to 50 years, this organisation is a house hold name and highly respected for it’s ability to create unique experiences for events and exhibitions.
With over 700 employees across Melbourne and Sydney, this business is known for it’s up market marquees, exquisite furniture and event and exhibition equipment.
Leading a team of 20 creatives, across 5 distinct departments and several team leaders, you will be responsible for meeting the creative delivery expectations for the business. Bringing your wide and varied operational and efficiency expertise to the business, you will add value by optimising systems and processes to create an unrivalled creative design operation.
Your leadership style is collaborative, supportive, and nurturing. You know how to push the buttons of each unique individual to get the best output from them. You have been involved in building your team, doing their performance reviews and performance managing people out of the business when necessary. You don’t shy away from the fact that you have high expectations but you know how to give your team the tools they need to succeed.
If you’re not from this industry perhaps you have gained experience working on architectural projects, interior design projects, construction or engineering. We are open to where you come from but you do need to have an understanding of the role industrial designers.
