Job Description

Our client is a creative agency that is looking for an experienced Content and Social Media Manager to join their existing team for a fixed term contract - potentially 3-6 months - starting as soon as possible!
If you're all over social media, you know how to build and execute a calendar, and you know how to create compelling content, then this is absolutely a dream job for you!

For this role, you'll be required to manage website and social media content, and be the voice of the brands across their digital channels.  You'll be required to keep on top of the daily and weekly content calendar, from scheduling to going live.

Your experience is not only with content management, but also content strategy, working together with clients and colleagues to develop content strategies.
There will be the opportunity to flex your creative ideation as you develop fresh and insightful ideas that maximize the use of talent, brand and product opportunities.

You'll have experience liaising with talent and third party content producers.  There will also be access to a team of videographers, photographers and designers to help bring to life your ideas.   With that, you'll have experience with content generation including copywriting, storyboarding video content, social media content and using Canva.
You'll be required to report on your channel and content success, and suggest strategies to improve effectiveness moving forward, and you'll be passionate about keeping on top of content and social media trends, sharing that knowledge and insight with your team and helping to coach others skillsets.
Strong copywriting skills with a high attention to detail which you can bring to your content is an advantage here, and you'll be able to write, self-edit and self-proof your content.  To be successful with this role, the client will want to see examples of your writing with your application.
This is an awesome working environment with a great company culture, so they really want to ensure that whoever comes and joins them absolutely LOVES what they do and is enthusiastic about working together.  The range of experience currently within this team is incredible - whoever gets this role is going to absolutely benefit from working with this team.
This client really wants to find someone who is looking for opportunities to be creative and to have some fun with it!
To be eligible for this role, you'll need 3+ years in a content role, the majority in a marketing or content agency, or as an in-house content manager for a brand.
You'll need to have proven creative thinking skills with experience in developing ideas in workshops and independently.

You have proven abilities working with CMS, scheduling platforms such as Hootsuite and Mishguru, and asset template platforms including Canva.

You'll have an understanding of the relationship between content metrics and business goals, proven ability to pull insights from content data to inform a brand's next moves.  You'll have the ability to both provide feedback to others, and to translate feedback into content outputs.

This is a fast paced environment and you'll have a high level of personal organisation and management, and an ability to manage team mates to drive success.

This opportunity is a combination of on site and off site work, and the studio is based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne.

To apply for this role, send your up to date CV and links to recent calendars and content channels that you've done through to Lawrence on or apply on the link below.

Please note, while we would love to be able to get back to everyone, we will only respond to shortlisted applicants.  This is an onsite opportunity so you will need to be based in Melbourne and either be an Australian citizen or have appropriate Working VISAs for this opportunity.
